I always felt safe with my dad, I was not afraid to show my weaknesses and tears with him, because I always knew that he, like no one else, would understand and support me. Today I have to ask for help for my dad, because life, although usually very beautiful, gave him a nightmare for which none of us was ready ...

At the beginning of September, my beloved dad had a severe stroke which left the left side of the body completely paralyzed with aphasia. Even a healthy and active lifestyle did not save my father. Frequent cycling and swimming did not protect his body from the tragedy that affects my whole family. I still believe that I will get my dad back, just like I had with me a moment ago. Specialist rehabilitation in the center can do wonders, and so far I did not believe in anything so much as that my dad would get better, get on his favorite bike and walk the forest paths as before.
