GIVE ME A CHANCE OF INDEPENDENCE

Mikołaj was born on 12 July 2012 at 32 weeks of pregnancy. Since the beginning of his life, he has been suffering from numerous health problems. In the first year of life, our son was diagnosed with epilepsy and cerebral palsy - quadriplegia. Since then Mikołaj has been under the care of various doctors and specialists. He needs rehabilitation on a daily basis. He is also administered speech therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration and the others. However, the costs, especially of the inpatient rehabilitation stays, are a huge burden on our family budget. Added to this are the costs of rehabilitation and orthopedic equipment. This year Mikołaj has been qualified for stem cell transplantation and this therapy will give our child a great chance to improve his life functions. The results most often bring about the improvement of the intellectual and cognitive sphere, enhance communication and speech development as well as reduce the spasticity and involuntary athetotic movents.
