Epilepsy is destroying Nina's life. Help her break free from the disease!

Nina is a bubbly and cheerful little girl. Unfortunately, since the very beginning/her birth/ an early age, she has been denied a worry-free childhood. Our daughter is only five but she already has to face so much adversity in her life.

Nina suffers from a drug-resistant epilepsy. The disease is causing more damage to her little body every day. She can have up to 60 epileptic fits per day. As a result, she cannot develop properly and any progress made before has been lost. Due to lower muscle tension, Nina cannot run around and play with other children. She often has headaches which are so strong that she cannot get off the bed or stop crying. The disease turns out to be caused by a gene mutation.

After our last doctor consultation, we learned there is a chance of a surgery treatment for Nina. However, she first needs to undergo a more detailed diagnosis so that the surgery can be carried out. The cost is extremely high and therefore we ask for your help. Your support can help Nina make another step towards her independence/ normal childhood /brighter future.

Nina leidet an einer medikamentös resistenten Epilepsie. Sie bekommt bis zu 60 Anfällen pro Tag. Jeder Anfall wirft sie in ihrer Entwicklung zurück. Nina ist 5 Jahre alt und auf dem Stand einer 1 1/2 Jährigen. Auch ihr Wachstum und Bewegungsapparat ist eingeschränkt. 

Oft hat sie so starke Kopfschmerzen, dass sie nicht aufstehen kann. Nina leidet sehr. Die medikamentös resistente Epilepsie hat bereits Verhaltensweisen im Autismus- Spektrum hervorgerufen. 

Bei der letzten ärztlichen Beratung, haben wir von einer Klinik in Deutschland erfahren.

Die Behandlung in Deutschland ist eine große Chance für Nina, leider ist diese Behandlung / Diagnostik sehr teuer und wird nicht von der Krankenkasse unterstützt.

Die Behandlung wird kompliziert werden, da man erst einmal den Epilepsieherd im Gehirn finden muss.

Dies ist eine große Chance für Nina. Durch diese Diagnostik erhoffen wir uns für Nina, ihr Leiden lindern zu können. Darum bitten wir Sie um Unterstützung. Jeder Zloty zählt.
