Let's help Zosia!

It was one of my biggest dreams to be a mum so when I found out I was pregnant I was very happy. I waited impatiently for my tests until one day in the 12th week of pregnancy a prenatal test showed that my daughter had one thigh bone shorter than the other. I couldn't help crying, I loved my baby most of all things in the world and I spent whole weeks thinking what to do to make her live a normal life in spite of the defect she had to face.

After birth, doctors confirmed what I had already known, Zosia was born with a thigh bone length discrepancy and dysplasia of the left hip joint. Unfortunately, we had to search on our own for reliable infromation and answers to our questions. We were very fortunate to meet doctor Feldman from Paley European Institute, who gave us hope that no other doctor could have given us before. He promised that after treatment our daughter would not even know that she had one leg shorter. I and my husband rejoiced but soon it was overshadowed by the news of how much it would cost. Zosia needs even four operations and that is to be the first one...  Our daughter was given a chance which cannot be lost as she is still a little baby and we believe in her bright future and that she may explore the world walking on her two legs of equal length. We believe that with joint efforts we will collect the funds for Zosia to have her first operation. Please help her become a fully able-bodied girt !  I believe she will make it and one day       I will tell her there are many good people who helped her become an able-bodied person !
