Fundraiser description
The inevitable teaches us that there are no shortcuts in life. Situations in which there is nothing certain - events that teach us that every moment can be a turning point in your life. A fight despite the fact that uneven and potentially doomed to lose must be taken because it is worth fighting for every day of life in this world.
The disease has been with me almost since the beginning of my adult life. This "adventure" began in 2005 with growing, paralyzing pain. I thought that swelling on my thigh was a harmless change, but it soon turned out that this was something that would mark the path of my future life ... I was lucky, because right after hearing the monstrous diagnosis, I came across a wonderful specialist who first advised me against a solution suggested by everyone- namely amputation. Thanks to him, the treatment went a completely different path, and removal of the leg or parts of it were considered as a last resort. His words stuck in my head for a long time, hoping that all was not lost yet. These emotions, waiting, subsequent operations, radiation therapy - each of the activities gave a chance to overcome the disease and maintain physical fitness. To this day, I call this man my Angel ... He was also the only one, who being asked about the possibility of having children, despite the illness, did not start shouting and knocking on the head that I went crazy. Not only did he give me hope for health, but he also said that the fulfillment of one of the biggest dreams was within reach.

Unfortunately, fate was not kind to me and in 2018 the pain returned. I had a feeling that it would be terrible news for me. The disease returned, this time with double power. Suffering was unimaginable and amputation was inevitable. I perfectly remember the last steps in the quiet hospital corridor in the evening before the operation. The surgery was planned for the morning, and I was wondering what the new reality would look like when I would not be able to reach some places as quickly as I needed.
My whole family was stuck in all this pain, suffering and terror ... Little daughters, to whom everything fell apart. For them, I decided to fight, even the hardest. For them, I kept a smile on my face which, along with the support and love of the most important people in my life, led me through the worst moments.
Living without a leg has become a huge challenge. This situation cannot be imagined until you find yourself in it ... The simplest activities pose a problem, suddenly you cannot take the children to school, preparing meals is a real Mount Everest, dressing up, daily personal hygiene - things you do without thinking for me are the peak of my dreams.
Along with the surgery and amputation of the leg, my children got deprived of their carefreeness. We subordinated everything to the fight with an opponent who attacked with terrible force. Most importantly, he failed to destroy me. I'm just worried about whether the girls are not growing up too quickly and whether I can restore their sense of security ...
When I was going to scheduled surgery last year, I assured my older daughter that exactly a year later we would go for a walk together and that I would defend the goal line in a family match. A year will have passed in a few months, and I'm desperately looking for a way to keep my promise. I have only one chance to buy a modern prosthesis that will give me a chance to move independently, to play with my children, and to function normally. Its cost is enormous, and I have to move heaven and earth, because it's one of those promises that I can't break ...
Help! Please, give me a chance to give my daughters and myself the biggest surprise in life!
I can still remember those last steps on two working legs. I left the past behind and look forward to the future with hope. I know that there are many steps ahead of me, each of them can be a milestone in my ordinary life. To meet the challenges that everyday life puts in front of me I need a helping hand . Could you give it to me to give me hope?
