Nie ma lekarstwa na autyzm. Jest jednak Fundacja SYNAPSIS, która pomaga osobom z autyzmem odnaleźć się w świecie, który widzą, słyszą i czują inaczej niż my.

Fundacja SYNAPSIS jest organizacją pożytku publicznego, która działa od 1989 roku.

Pomaga dzieciom i dorosłym osobom w spektrum autyzmu, prowadząc diagnozę, specjalistyczną terapię i rehabilitację, a także wspierając ich rodziny. Poprzez dziesiątki kampanii i akcji buduje świadomość społeczną na temat autyzmu oraz uwrażliwia innych na potrzeby osób w spektrum autyzmu, ich różnorodność, odmienny sposób odbierania świata,  dążąc do włączenia ich w życie społeczne.

Fundacja prowadzi Ośrodek dla Dzieci i Osób Dorosłych z Autyzmem, Centrum Diagnostyki i Terapii Małych Dzieci oraz Zakład Aktywności Zawodowej Pracownia Rzeczy Różnych SYNAPSIS. 

Fundacja SYNAPSIS posiada status przedsiębiorstwa społecznego.
