Food supplies for victims of hunger in Ukraine

The Foundation "Ready to act" is a non-profit organization. Our mission and main goal is local promotion of culture and development support, organizing interesting initiatives and awakening the community spirit in the community. However, the situation in Ukraine also changed us. From the very beginning of the war, we have been actively involved in helping Ukraine and its citizens. 

We organize and coordinate donation collections, acquire sponsors, and carry out transports. We are in constant contact with the Ukrainian organization cooperating with us, which constantly monitors the situation in the country. Thanks to this, our help always hits the spot and responds to the current, real needs of the inhabitants of the affected areas. 

Our successes include completing and shipping almost 3,100 packages of food with a long shelf life, obtaining a medical package for the Kiev Hospital, acquiring an ambulance equipment and more than thirty tactical first aid kits. We have completed the equipment for an 80-person center for people forced to relocate within Ukraine. 

In total, we collected and shipped almost 360 tons of gifts. We also help to transport people from Ukraine to Poland - almost 8,200 people have already come on such courses. 

The next task we have set for ourselves is to raise funds for the completion of food parcels that will be delivered to areas affected by destruction - where the remaining civilians can only count on humanitarian aid. This is a continuation of the activities we have undertaken in recent months. 

Our goal is to complete and ship as many food packages as possible for people staying in places affected by the war in Ukraine. These are people who, for various reasons - health, financial or logistics - could not relocate inside the country. These include the elderly, people with disabilities and large families. 

One such package is a security for one household for a period of about a month. Food with a long shelf life in it will help many people survive the next few weeks. The food package is high in calories, allows you to enrich the diet, and thanks to its long shelf life, it can also act as a reserve, or so-called "Iron reserve".

Such packages have already been delivered to Ukraine many times, but they are still a drop in the ocean of needs.
