In Memory of A Beautiful Friend
The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
Dear Friends!
In August last year, my dear friend Isabelle lost her fight against cancer. A young, beautiful, wonderful person. Someone who loved life and loved people.
She was always looking to the future with hope, even when she was very ill. But her hopes were defeated by this terrible disease.
She left this world and the people she loved so much, far too early and I would like to dedicate my bike ride from Łeba to Krakow to her and her wonderful attitude to life.
The route passes through places that were close to both our hearts. It will be a sentimental journey and also a challenging one. By facing it I want to support Fundacje Dziecięca Fantazja (The Children's Fantasy Foundation) which helps children with incurable diseases fulfil their dreams.
Iza's last dream was to visit the beautiful gardens close to where she lived, but the progression of the disease did not allow it. I believe that seeing the smiles on the kids' faces this charity supports, would make her very happy.
She was always there with a helping hand.
