Patrycja had a terrible ACCIDENT❗️At first, she was fighting for her life, now she is fighting to recover! PLEASE, HELP❗️

A couple weeks ago, everything was different... Patrycja was a very positive person, always smiling. She was always sensitive to the needs of others, never denying help. She loved riding a bike, swimming, hiking in the mountains. That is why we still find it difficult to accept the events from 6 October this year!

It was a rainy Monday evening. Patrycja, as usual, went to work by bike. Soon, we received dreadful news. It felt like time stopped... It turned out that Patrycja had a horrific traffic accident!

Unfortunately, she was run over by a tram... It was clear that her condition was serious. She was fighting not only for her health but also for her life! After a long and difficult action of paramedics, she was transported to hospital where she was put an induced coma. She underwent many medical tests which confirmed, among others, multiple trauma, pericerebral haematoma, multiple fractures, including pelvis, both hands, vertebrae and ribs! There were so many injuries... She was admitted to the ICU.

After five days, the doctors started waking her up. Although her body was very strong, there were many difficulties... At first, there were issues with her memory – she did not know the year or where she was. She had to undergo many serious surgeries, including pelvis and both hands (the right one had to be operated on three times). There are next procedures ahead of her... Currently she is conscious and we can talk with her normally. But we can see the sadness and the suffering in her eyes!

There is a long and difficult treatment ahead of her and also intensive rehabilitation later on. Recently, she has been staying in a specialist facility where she is fighting for her recovery. However, she cannot function on her own and she is in need of continuous care. We believe that with proper health, she can return to her previous life. We would like to see her smile again...

We hope that she will not have to spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair and that she will be able to move on her own! We are doing everything possible to help her! Unfortunately, despite our effort, we know that we cannot cover all the costs of the rehabilitation stay, necessary equipment, treatment and rehabilitation that is going to last for many months.
