My son had a whole life ahead of him... Let's give him a chance for a better future!

It is still hard for me to talk about it... Although it's been over a month since the accident, I cannot wrap my head around it. I know one thing for sure, though - I must stay strong and fight for Patrick's health! Please help me! 

On June 16, Patrick, my 29-year-old son, and his older brother had a car accident. 

Suddenly, another car cut them off, so Patrick's brother swerved to avoid a collision with a heavy truck. Unfortunately, they hit a different vehicle parked on the roadside. Due to the high-impact crash, Patrick got ejected from the car, suffering critical injuries...

Thankfully, an ambulance came fast. Patrick required resuscitation... His life was at stake. He survived, but his hand was crushed, his eye socket was fractured, and he had a punctured lung and cerebral edema. 

When I learned about the accident, I froze. I couldn't believe my beloved son had to fight for his life in the hospital. I still feel hopeless and sad and keep asking myself - why it happened to him? 

Fortunately, my other son was in better condition and called me immediately after the tragic event. 

Patrick was rushed to the hospital in Legnica in critical condition. After a physical examination, he was transferred to Wrocław. He lost a lot of blood. Two surgeries were required, including one to save the crushed hand! 

Recently, my son has woken up from a medically induced coma. Unfortunately, he remains in post-coma unresponsiveness.

The accident changed his life 180 degrees. The young man who used to be active and loved his job now fights for his life in the ICU. I wish he could enjoy his life again, chat with his family members and start a family one day...  

I visit him in the hospital every day. When he returns home, he will require a long and expensive rehabilitation ... I won't be able to afford it, though. Please, support Patrick on his road to recovery! Every little donation matters!
