Love for family is stronger from brain cancer!

One month ago, Paweł started therapy with the Optune device. We must admit, it would not be possible without YOU! Why did we choose this treatment?

Update

After endless searching for information and consulting specialists, we decided to try Optune treatment. It is no longer a part of clinical trials and is officially reimbursed and approved for the effective and non-invasive treatment of glioblastoma in the USA and several European countries. 

In my case, Optune therapy will take six months and cost ca. € 150,000, and it needs to be started as soon as possible. Thanks to your donations, I can fight for my recovery and live longer!

The life that I’ve built over the years is gone. Instead, I was given a chance to keep what was left of it. Only you can help me recover! I’m 38 years old, a wonderful wife, and a 6-year-old daughter, and I live with an unbearable diagnosis…

But let me start from the beginning. 

The story of my disease begins with a car accident. While driving, I suffered from an unexpected seizure and lost consciousness. In that brief moment, my life changed forever…

The accident itself wasn’t serious. However, I was taken to the hospital and underwent a more thorough examination. I received a diagnosis that has kept me up at night ever since. It turned out my seizure was a result of a brain tumor… An astrocytoma. My new enemy. 

I have already undergone surgery and radiation therapy, and currently, I’m in the middle of chemotherapy. To increase my chances of recovery, I would like to participate in the treatment, which isn’t refundable in Poland. I want to take a chance, though. 

I’m a strong man who will fight until the end. For myself and my beloved family…

Unfortunately, the treatment will be expensive, and we won’t be able to afford it…

I am a firefighter-rescuer and an underwater firefighter.
