WE ARE SAVING CHILDREN FROM UKRAINE

“We are begging you, do not let them come back to Ukraine. Let them stay safe in
Poland".

We could not remain deaf to such an appeal of mothers of 66 Ukrainian boys. We took care of the whole group. We organized accommodation and meals. We do everything to make them feel safe in our country. We will bring their mothers and siblings to Poland. We estimate that the cost will be at least 500 000 PLN in the first months. That is why we are asking for help and support...

Boys aged 10-14 came to Poland for a football tournament. It was going to be a great time - sports games, competition. A lifetime trip for six teams of small footballers from Kiev. When the first missiles fell on Ukraine on this Black Thursday, as Russian
troops crossed the borders, the world they knew before collapsed. The date of their departure back home was scheduled for Sunday, three days after the outbreak of the
war. For their relatives, the thought of them returning to the attacked Kiev looked like
the greatest nightmare. What can a mother feel when she calls strangers and begs them to look after her child? That they would not let the child return to its home torn by a war...

We simply had to respond to such an appeal immediately. We organized accommodation and meals for the entire group. But now we are fighting to be able to buy clothes and pay all the costs associated with their stay. Our ZOBACZ MNIE (SEE ME) Foundation will provide not only accommodation, but also psychological and pedagogical care for the boys. We will organize sports and educational activities during their stay in Poland. We want to do everything to give these children a chance to break away from their thoughts of war. So that they could live a normal life a little...

Today the boys feel very lonely. They cry. They miss their families.
