An expensive therapy is the only hope for Piotr❗️Help him win the fight against cancer❗️

My name is Piotrek. I am fighting for my life, for myself and for my family. Cancer does not give up but me neither. Help me defeat it!

I am 54 years old. For more than two years, I have been living with this sentence – lymphoma. It is an aggressive opponent and it attacked me with all its might at the beginning. Chemotherapy did not work... Immunotherapy gave no results... I also underwent a stem cell therapy but the disease came back twice as strong as before.

Currently, I have a large metastasis. Time is not my ally. The only option that has left is a CAR-T therapy which, in my case, is non-reimbursable. The therapy is prepared in Amsterdam and may be administered in one of the Polish haematologic centres. This may be the last opportunity and then I have to find a donor and undergo a bone marrow transplant.

The cost of this therapy is more than 1,5 million zlotys. It is a huge amount. For me – beyond reach. But I believe that together we can gather it.

I am not fighting only for myself. I am fighting mainly for my family – for my wife who gives me strength every day. She holds my hand and does not allow me do give up. For my children – Karol and Magda who still need me. I am a father. A husband. A person who wants to live. I want to see my children growing up. I want to be with them. I went to spend time together with my family to experience normal moments, which are invaluable to me.

The disease has already taken away my health, plans and normal life. But it cannot take everything. I will not allow it!

I know that somewhere out there, on the other side of the screen, there are people with kind hearts. People who can help me save my life. Please, help me gather the funds for the therapy that can save my life. Each zloty, each share and each prayer is a step towards the goal. I am asking for a chance.
