The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
The collection at siepomaga is aimed exclusively at the research on the medicine. All the funds are contributed towards that goal.
A jump away from the Cure
You are flying up-side-down and you are wondering whether you will survive or crash. The whole life glimpses behind your eyes you jump because there is no way back. Adrenaline and euforia you are happy that you managed to land and that everything is all right. That is how jumping with a parachute from an airplane from a height of 4000 meters. A great adventure. A jump is similar to a different situation which our team must have faced. We are all diagnosed with the SMA and living with this disease resembles a parachute jump apart from the ending. There is no happiness at the finishing post. Unless you help us. You have the power and you can make us have a soft landing.
What SMA is?
To put it in different words, it is spinal muscular atrophy. A disease which takes away our muscles, strenght, breath, Does not allow us to walk. It is a very hard and deadly disease. It does not however deprive us of the passion of life.
What is it all about?
A group of buffs suffering from SMA have gathered together in order to make their dreams come true. We are planning to jump with a parachute from a height of 4000 meters. We jump in order to collect funds for the research on a medicine for SMA which is getting closer and closer to us! Unfortunately the cost of the research is very high that is why we are asking for help. We want to do something good spread awerness of people about SMA show the young suffering from SMA that they can do whatever they want to as well as to show the others that everybody can reach for the dreams regardless of the limitations. We do not sit home on our hands. We do not cry over our fate. We do not cry into your beer. We want to show that SMA is not a barier for us, that SMA is not a sentence !
There will also be the hands of the youngest with SMA imprinted on the T-shirts. We want them together with us,to be given energy to fight with the disease and make their dreams come true.
