The beloved rabbit Bugs and Mr. Teddy, his own little room and that’s actually that ... Mikołaj was born ill, with a damaged nervous system, without a chance of development and normal life.

Mikołaj wakes up, and it is time for washing and dressing him. For a healthy ,normal person, it is a day like every day, but for Mikołaj it is a moment of painful stretching of the contracture, which progressive spasticity leads to an unbearable pain. If Mikołaj had even just an hour of rehabilitation the day before, he feels better and nothing hurts him in the morning. Then you can see that it is relaxed and that he is not suffering.

Later it is time for further treatments , feeding, changing the nappies, patting and most important - hugging! Mikołaj knows that this moment is coming every day. This is a very nice moment, the one that makes the rest of the day more bearable. The teacher, from his individual teaching, runs a multisensory therapy every day, which Mikołaj likes very much. So much, and at the same time so little is needed to make Mikołaj happy.

Mikolaj's parents do everything possible to make his life more enjoyable. Because if you know him, you can read his needs from his eyes. The most important thing for him is to make the illness he suffers from not bother him at least physically. Quadrilateral quadriplegia is an extremely dangerous condition that causes the spine to twist and distort. Because of the curved spine, the rest of the organs suffer, the child has problems with swallowing, breathing, and pain does not let him fall and stay asleep.

Mikołaj needs a specialized seat that stabilizes his spine. Such a seat for a child with quadriplegia is very important. It helps to maintain a normal body position, breathe normally, digest ... Mikołaj sits practically all the time, so it is important that this position doesn’t worsen his state of health.

Such a seat is now a priority for Mikołaj' parents. A rehabilitation seat allows you to divert your arms and legs, preventing his body contracting and deforming further. Mikołaj' parents cannot afford such a seat and that is why they ask for your help.

This is one of the few things we can do for this boy, so that his life stops being filled with pain. Thanks to us, this boy could enjoy life, filled with beautiful days when he feels his parents’ love.
