To pledge 1.5% of your tax, when settling PIT, enter the KRS number of the Siepomaga Foundation and amount of 1.5% of tax. KRS number: 0000396361 FUNDACJA SIEPOMAGA
How to calculate 1.5% of tax?
To calculate the 1.5% of tax, multiply the tax due by 1.5%, then round the amount down to the nearest tenth of a penny. For example, if your 1.5% is PLN 35,58, pledge PLN 35,50.
What is the deadline for settling my PIT for 2024?
You can settle your PIT-28, PIT-36, PIT-36L, PIT-37, and PIT-38 until April 30, 2025. Remember! If you fail to settle your PIT on time, your 1.5% of tax will go automatically to the state budget.
Is there a fee charged from 1.5% of tax?
The Siepomaga Foundation does not charge any fees from raising or pledging 1.5% of tax. Every Beneficiary of the Siepomaga Foundation receives a full amount of funds from the Donors.
How to receive a confirmation of donations?
To download a summary of donations, go to www.siepomaga.pl/en/potwierdzenie. Enter your email that was used upon making a donation to fundraisers or Organizations at Siepomaga.pl. We will send you a confirmation of your donations.
How to deduct donations made to a Foundation, which is a Public Benefit Organization, from tax?
Donations that are made to a public benefit organization (OPP) can be deducted from income in a tax return, which results in a reduced tax base. You can deduct up to 6% of your income (for natural persons) or 10% (for legal persons). A proof of payment is necessary to show your donation in the tax return (PIT-36, PIT-37 with PIT/O appendix). To benefit from the deduction, make sure the selected foundation has a public benefit organization status. Siepomaga Confirmation of Donations can be useful while making a tax deduction.

What is 1.5% of tax?
1.5% of tax is a part of personal income tax, which can be pledged by a taxpayer to public benefit organizations entitled to receive such funds. To do that, you must first declare your pledge in the tax return and pay full amount of tax due within two months after the tax return submission deadline. The PIT form can be completed in writing or via online e-PIT platform. By pledging 1.5% of tax in the tax return, a taxpayer can support a selected public benefit organization. If you don't enter the KRS number of a chosen OPP, the funds from 1.5% of tax will go to the treasury.
Can I donate 1.5% as a pensioner?
Yes, if you are retired or have disability pension, you can pledge 1.5% of tax to the People in need. If you want to offer support and pledge 1.5% of tax to the Beneficiaries of the Siepomaga Foundation, print out and complete PIT OP. Enter KRS 0000396361 on your PIT form and send it back to your local Tax Office. This way, you can pledge 1.5% of tax to the public benefit organization of your choice, without the need to submit full tax return.
Who can pledge 1.5% of tax?
Natural persons who submit an annual tax return, can pledge 1.5% of their tax to a public benefit organization. These are employees, pensioners, and self-employed persons paying a progressive or lump-sum tax. They can pledge 1.5% of tax if they submit their tax returns on time, and pay a full amount of tax due. Those who pay flat tax or do not submit their tax returns, cannot pledge 1.5% of tax. Can a company pledge 1.5% of tax?
Companies cannot pledge 1.5% of tax to a public benefit organization. This option is available only for natural persons, including personal income taxpayers, lump-sum tax on registered revenues payers, and self-employed persons paying a progressive tax. What is PIT-OP?
PIT-OP form allows pensioners to pledge 1.5% of tax to a public benefit organization of their choice. This way, they don't have to submit a full tax return. If you want to pledge 1.5% of tax to the Siepomaga Foundation, enter KRS number: 0000396361 or Fundacja Siepomaga in your PIT-OP.
How to pledge 1.5% of tax to a specific purpose?
Before filling out your tax return, decide which public benefit organization and what purpose of 1.5% of tax you want to support. Make sure the organization chosen by you has a public benefit organization status (OPP). You can check it on the list provided by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy and available in electronic form. The Siepomaga Foundation has maintained such status for many years.
Complete the tax return, enter KRS number in the dedicated field, and in the "Purpose of 1.5% of tax" field write the code and name of the Beneficiary you want to support. It is shown in an orange frame after entering the Beneficiary's page on the Foundation's website. (The Beneficiaries you want to support are available here:www.siepomaga.pl/en/podopieczni/procent-podatku). It is important to enter the Purpose of 1.5% of tax in the exact order displayed in the frame.
If you prefer your 1.5% of tax to be allocated to general activities of the Siepomaga Foundation, leave the Purpose field empty.
After completing the tax return form, submit it in the appropriate tax office or via e-PIT platform.
What happens to 1.5% for Public Benefit Organization after I submit an amended PIT?
If the submitted tax return requires correction, a taxpayer can change a recipient of his 1.5% of tax, or indicate a new recipient if they haven't done it before. It is important to submit the correction before the tax return deadline. 1.5% of tax can be pledged to a public benefit organization also after submitting the correction, provided, that the KRS number and the name of the OPP provided in the PIT form were properly updated. In your corrected PIT you can pledge 1.5% of tax to the Siepomaga Foundation, entering KRS 0000396361 and Fundacja Siepomaga.
