Przylądek (The Cape) - Home Forever

We want to build a unique home, whose residents will be unique people with unique needs. Home Forever, as it is called, will become a place of safe residence for adults with autism, where - under the guidance of specialists - they will get a chance for a dignified, mature life.

Unfortunately, the cost of constructing such a building is unimaginably high, and at the moment amounts to about 6 million PLN, which with rampant inflation and rising prices of building materials is bound to change.... We will not be able to build it ourselves, so we ask for help!

Adults with autism are allowed to attend school until the age of 24. After this age, the assistance system has no offers of care and work for them. Relief homes are not prepared to take the wards who require individual support. Therefore, adults with autism often remain locked at homes with aging parents, with no chance for a dignified adult life.

Due to the lack of systemic funding solutions for specialized facilities dedicated to people with autism, the challenge for the Lepszy Start (Better Start) Foundation is to build a Home Forever.

We dream that in such a house our residents will not only have a good care, but also jobs. Our goal is to build a residential building for 12 people with an area of about 550 m2. It is to be located on the site where an elementary school already built by our Foundation is currently operating. A school which prepare for work will be build next to it, as well as a work and therapy home for our adult wards.

These are all far-reaching plans, but every work has a beginning, and every construction has its first embed shovel. However, before that happens we need to secure financing for this investment.

Therefore, we wholeheartedly ask for your support! We want the residents of the Home Forever to have their own place on Earth, where they can live and grow old in dignity, as well as work and function safely.... Forever.
