15-year-old Michał’s CANCER IS BACK❗️Immediate help needed❗️

THE THIRD RECURRENCE! Each day, we ask ourselves: how is this possible? Cancer has already attacked our child FOUR times! We are begging for help. We need funds for a very expensive treatment.

Michał is currently 10 years old and he is a passionate teenager who wants to explore the world. Unfortunately, the last 6 years have been unbelievably difficult for him. When he was 8 years old, he was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer – neuroblastoma, stage 4, which is the most advanced stage, with metastases to almost every bone and bone marrow. 

Despite poor prognosis, Michał fought bravely and after a long treatment, he was able to win with the disease. Unfortunately, neuroblastoma is a deceitful opponent and after a couple of months of remission, it attacked again. The disease returned in the spinal bones and once again, Michal had to spend his days on the oncology ward. 

Our nightmare was back – litres of chemotherapy, hair falling out, long stay at hospital, missing home, school and peers. Our despair and helplessness were unbearable...Fortunately, after almost a year of treatment, the disease was defeated again. Tears of sorrow were replaced by the tears of joy and hope for a better life. Our hope was vain again, because after a couple of months neuroblastoma was back for the third time… 

I am not able to describe what we felt then, how many tears we shed and how many places we contacted to seek for help. However, Michal is a sturdy fighter who has a strong will to live and he won once again. Our lives were back to normal for a couple of months, we tried to live our lives to the full. We learned to live in the moment, dance in the rain and value each moment we shared.

However, this normal life did not last long. Neuroblastoma came back and Michał has to fight for the fourth time. He is after one of the two necessary surgeries and has already started chemotherapy. His hair fell out again, he is suffering again... Our despair is bottomless and we cannot understand why we have to continuously live in this nightmare!

We are almost out of treatment options in Poland and abroad. We have tried almost everything, but the disease keeps winning. Our fear, despair and the sense of injustice are unbearable! We know one thing for sure – we cannot give up. We have to check every possibility. Michał has to live!

There is light at the end of the tunnel. Car T-cell therapy in Rome is our chance to save Michał’s life. We pin all our hopes on this treatment. It may free us from this cruel disease that keeps coming back...

But the cost of it keeps us awake at night. We need approximately TWO MILLION ZLOTYS! Two million for the life of our child. We strongly believe that there are Angels who will help us do the impossible and Michał will get back to the life free from chemotherapy, pain, suffering, separation and fear of tomorrow.

We are asking for even the slightest donations to help us reach this goal. You are our hope... We are frightened by the thought that if we cannot gather this astronomic amount, we will have to face the worst... We are begging, please, do not allow for this to happen! Help us save our beloved child...
