Staś żyje z leukodystrofią metachromatyczną (MLD). To choroba, która powoduje szybki zanik istoty białej w mózgu.
W 2018 roku synek dzięki wsparciu tysięcy osób przeszedł terapię genową. Jest drugim dzieckiem w Polsce, któremu dano taką szansę. Niestety pojawił się kolejny, niezwykle wymagający przeciwnik – skolioza. Obecnie skupiamy się na rehabilitacji i planujemy zakup sprzętów ortopedycznych. Chcemy zrobić wszystko, by uniknąć operacji. Poza intensywną, codzienną fizjoterapią Staś uczy się w szkole specjalnej i bierze udział w turnusach neurologopedycznych. Jednocześnie pragniemy, by dzieciństwo synka było też wypełnione radością i zabawą.
Prosimy – bądźcie z nami i pomóżcie nam walczyć o zdrowie Stasia! Dziękujemy!
