Leaving the country, he believed that he would fulfill his dream, that working in Belgium would make his dream come true, he would return with the savings that would help him buy a flat. Perhaps if he knew what would happen to him, he would never make such a decision ... It started with a headache, the painkillers assigned by the doctor did not help. After two days and uninterrupted headache he fainted. He was diagnosed in the hospital with meningitis combined with encephalitis. Unfortunately, instead of being better it was getting worse... After three days he got a respiratory collapse, he was put into a pharmacological coma, and an attempt to wake him up from it, led to a deep coma. The doctors there were no longer able to help him. They offered to disconnect from the apparatus or return Lukasz to the country. His parents had no doubts, they wanted to fight for their son in Poland. However, Łukasz's insurance did not cover all costs related to foreign treatment. A huge amount left to pay, which his family, despite great willingness, is not able to pay alone.
