About Us & Why We Are Here

Two Communities. One Goal. Usually, we run on different days, different routes, and with different crowds. But there are moments when logos, schedules, and club colors don’t matter.

This winter, Kraków’s running scene is uniting for something bigger than a weekend 5K.

runs’n coffee (RNC) and Our Girls Club (OGC) are joining forces. We are bringing together the expats, the locals, the casual joggers, and the seasoned runners to form one massive wave of support to a little fighter named Zosia.

We are using our healthy bodies to fight for a little girl who is battling to keep hers.

Zosia’s Story
Zosia Lewandowska is a warrior in the truest sense of the word. Born as a premature triplet in 2017, she has been battling for her life since 2020.

Zosia was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of liver cancer (Hepatoblastoma). Over the last four years, she has endured grueling rounds of chemotherapy, multiple major surgeries, and painful recoveries. Every time the doctors thought they had won, the cancer found a way back.

Currently, Zosia is facing her third recurrence. The cancer has returned again, this time hiding in the tissue surrounding her liver. The reality is heartbreaking: standard chemotherapy available in Poland is no longer effective. Her body needs a different weapon.

The Hope (And The Cost)
There is a chance. The doctors have pointed to a cutting-edge treatment available abroad called CAR-T therapy.

To put it simply: this is a targeted therapy that "trains" the patient's immune system to recognize and attack specific cancer cells that standard drugs miss. It is Zosia’s best and only hope for a cure.

However, this life-saving treatment comes with a staggering price tag of $1 million.

How You Can Help
No parent should have to put a price on their child’s life. We cannot perform the surgery, but we can help crowd-fund the miracle.

THE EVENT:

We are hosting a 5K charity run around Błonia Park

The goal is simple: gather as many people as possible, run (or walk) together, and raise funds for Zosia Lewandowska’s cancer treatment.

When: 31.01.2025 (Saturday)

Where: Ogród KRK (ul. Piłsudskiego 4)

Start: 11:00

Entry cost: Any donation over 15 pln to the provided to THIS Siepomaga fund.

IMPORTANT:
We have prepared 200 full Starter Packs (partner gifts + physical bib number). First come, first served!

What if you register as person #201?
You are still part of the crew! You absolutely run with us! and you still enter the post-run prize lottery (we will assign you a "virtual" number on the list). Unfortunately, you won't receive the physical goodie bag or the bib to wear.
