Car Needed Urgently!
Campaign goal: continue to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people
Campaign goal: continue to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people
Campaign description
“Because we remain convinced there are more people who are good than people who are evil” - Marta Malecka
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, our organization has been working hard to provide assistance and maintain the solidarity which exists between Poland and Ukraine. Over these past several months, we have met countless fantastic people, coming together to fulfill one shared goal: to do everything to minimize the effects of the turmoil of war. Each time one of our convoys crosses the border, we give strength and hope for an end to the living hell created by the Russian occupiers.

As we so often witness directly, Ukraine has been helped by many people from all over the world. Among them is Issac, a former US Marine. While he and his brigade have been relentlessly fighting to turn the tide of the war, many months of heavy shelling from Russia have destroyed most of the brigade’s transport vehicles. In order to provide Isaac and his comrades with much needed vehicles, we have started this fundraising campaign. Without one, these soldiers will be unable to freely transport people, equipment, and deliveries of humanitarian aid to and from the front. Each donation sent to this page will go a long way in achieving our goal to help Issac, and could potentially save many lives as a result.

In the process of donating vehicles, such as the ones Issac needs, Be A Hero UA Foundation is responsible for:
● collecting money and buying the car (a used VW T4 bus in this instance),
● mechanical inspection after purchase (replacement of necessary consumables - oils, fluids, brake pads, etc.),
● organization and transport to Lviv, where we then hand over the car to our Ukrainian colleagues (Sasha) who drive the remainder of the journey,
● administrative and legal issues (registration and insurance documents, donation agreement).
Additionally, if resources permit, we equip donated vehicles with other supplies that are desperately needed:
● dressings and medications,
● night vision goggles and devices (to search for people who might be trapped in buildings filled with debris),
● flashlights, batteries,
● sleeping bags,
● Rip-Stop trousers.
We hope that you will support our efforts to continue to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people. We will, of course, document the purchasing, collection, and delivery of the vehicles to Isaac, so that you can follow the exciting process! Thank you for your consideration and glory to Ukraine!
All the best,
The president of the foundation, Marta Malecka, and the Be A Hero UA team
