Fundraiser description
I am 28 years old, and I want to share my story with you. I have endometriosis - it is an enemy that takes away my comfort, joy, and happiness, and gives me a hard time. It also puts in doubt my biggest dream of becoming a mother one day.
The pain won't stop without treatment and surgery! I want to be healthy and happy instead... There aren't many specialists who treat that disease, though, so the waiting period for an appointment is over two years!
In my case, time is crucial since the disease might soon spread to other organs...
My periods became so painful that I couldn't even get out of bed. I suffered so much that I had to go to the hospital once. Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed. Currently, I'm on medications that have stopped my period.

After searching for the right doctor and waiting over six months to schedule an appointment, I drove over 600 km, hoping to hear the good news... Unfortunately, the previous diagnosis was correct - I had type 3 endometriosis (out of 4 types) with two 8 cm large ovarian cysts and multiple adhesions.
The doctor recommended surgery to remove all endometrial growths and adhesions and possibly the affected section of the bowel.
When I left his room, tears started to roll down my cheeks. I was scared and in disbelief. Why did it happen to me? I have just gotten over my private issues, and now I must face another drama in my life?!
After searching for the right clinic, I found a specialist who again confirmed the diagnosis and gave me a cost estimate of the treatment - 37.330 zlotys! Surgery is scheduled for February 19, 2024, so I have three months to raise the required amount of funds. Otherwise, I'll have to take a loan...
Every penny means the world to me. It's not easy to single-handedly collect such a large amount. However, with the help of good people, everything is possible! First of all, I dream of regaining health, and my next step is to fight to preserve fertility that has been put at risk due to endometriosis.
