Our daughter Victoria suffers from spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. She uses an active wheelchair, and as she gets older and heavier, lifting and carrying her to and from the device is taking a heavy toll on our health. 

We own a small, 25-year-old car on the verge of breaking down, which is unsuited for transporting people with disabilities, and the wheelchair barely fits into its trunk, leaving no space for groceries or luggage. 

However, an opportunity recently presented itself to purchase a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Thanks to our determination, we received a partial reimbursement from the government. 

However, a car tailored to Victoria's needs costs 220,000 zlotys and we need over 40,000 zlotys by the end of September. Otherwise, we will lose the deposit already paid to the car dealer! 

We know there are good-hearted people out there who will help us purchase a vehicle that will allow Victoria hassle-free trips to rehabilitation camps and medical appointments hundreds of miles away from home. It will be a relief for our spines, too. We will never have to worry again that our poor health stands in the way of caring for Victoria.
