Let's help Staś!

Staś was born 2 months prematurely in the 30th week of pregnancy. Due to premature rupture of the membranes and delayed caesarean section ahe underwent severe sepsis, which caused massive hemorrhages into cortex (stage 4). In the third hour of his life, he was put on a respirator, which breathed for him for 10 days. Staś bravely fought for his life and health, he struggled with many problems, including breathing, circulation and eating. He underwent 6 blood transfusions during his 4.5-month hospital stay. As a result of post-stroke complications, he suffers from hemorrhagic hydrocephalus, which required two neurosurgical operations to insert the valve.

Unfortunately, Staś lost his health in the fight for life. He struggles with quadriplegia cerebral palsy, needs daily rehabilitation and multi-specialist care of over 10 specialists.
