Fundraiser description
The first smile, the first word, the first step... These are magical milestones in a child's development that bring indescribable emotions and joy to parents. They are moments that build a bond and create unforgettable memories.
However, when a child is diagnosed with a disability, the world of parents crumbles into pieces. Dreams of those precious moments are shattered. It feels as if everything has suddenly collapsed.
Stas received a tremendous blow in the form of a diagnosis that he won't be able to walk, won't say "mom" or "dad" or “love you” and will be fully dependent on his parents. Thanks to technological advancements, children with disabilities have the opportunity to overcome these challenges and achieve their own milestones. Although they may reach them in different ways than traditional steps, smiles, or words, these are still extraordinary moments filled with emotions and pride.

Stas is a little warrior who faces his challenges every day with immense determination and a smile on his face. Unfortunately, due to his condition (prematurity, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy), he struggles with basic activities such as crawling, sitting and walking. But there is hope! We have discovered and tried the revolutionary robotic gaiter from Trexo Robotics that can improve our son's life. Through the determination of parents and Your support, Stas took his first step at over two years of age with assistance of robotic gaiter. This at-home robotic rehabilitation device is only available in Canada and the USA, but with our collective efforts, we aim to bring it to Stas.
Trexo Robotics can help Stas build muscle
strength, improve range of motion, develop awareness of his lower limbs, enhance coordination, reduce pain and discomfort, improve posture, and increase his ability to interact with his surroundings.

This robotic gaiter combines the latest technologies and rehabilitation methods, opening up a world to children that once seemed inaccessible to them, providing the chance to achieve independence, albeit in a different way than traditional walking. Through it, Stas will be able to experience the joy of movement, which is so natural for most of us but presents a tremendous challenge for him.
Our fundraising campaign aims to cover the expenses for the purchase of Trexo Robotics equipment, giving him a chance for motor and cognitive development, acquiring new skills, and improving his quality of life during daily rehabilitation. We believe that Together, we can change Stas's future and take one more step towards turning disability into an opportunity...
