Together for the Kharkiv Heroes: Let's help the Firefighters and their Families

In Kharkiv, where hope slowly emerges from the depths of war, there are Heroes - the courageous Firefighters - who stay by the victims' side. Every day, they give testimony of their unbroken spirit. 

Every time Kharkiv is attacked, they are the ones who show up first, ready to offer help and support, save lives, and bring hope in the worst moments. Despite the danger, they help the wounded citizens. The entire city relies on these true heroes.

Unfortunately, they've recently become the target of the enemy, who wants to break their heroic spirit.  

In the last couple of weeks, the Russian soldiers have been striking areas that had already been damaged in earlier drone and missile attacks. These cruel military operations must not be forgotten. Three rescue workers were among the dead. They were our comrades with whom we worked for over a year. 

That is why we are raising funds to help the injured firefighters and the families of the fallen heroes. The Poland Helps organization brings support directly to those in need. It's more than providing humanitarian aid. It is a token of brotherhood and solidarity with the Ukrainian firefighters.

We are not indifferent to the fate of heroic Kharkiv rescuers! Let's not forget about those who put their own lives at risk to help others.

How are we planning to offer support? 

1. In the case of families of killed war victims:  
➡️ Support will be granted in cooperation with the fire department unit to ensure thorough verification of the beneficiaries and their current family situation;  
➡️ Help can be granted in the form of financial support for the families. That includes house renovation, children's education, or other necessary expenses. 

2. In the case of injured war victims:
➡️ Supporting rehabilitation and recovery (helping regain physical skills).
