Break the silence - help Tomasz reverse the hearing loss and regain dignity!

Ever since I can remember, I've been in constant pain. My life is a never-ending, silent fight for recovery. When I was only thirteen months old, I had a terrible accident that almost killed me. It has been taking a toll on me to this day. 

I suffered severe, extensive burns that covered a large part of my body and turned into keloids (thick raised scars) that restrict my movement, cause pain, and lead to contractions. Over time, they can also result in other health issues, like impaired thermoregulation. 

Throughout my childhood, I felt constant pain, and the treatments that were available at that time not only didn't bring relief but contributed to developing another disorder - severe hearing loss. 

Due to my health problems, which include scarring and hearing loss, I am unemployable. Although my scars were misdiagnosed as superficial, they don't feel like ones. Pain, thermoregulation issues, inability to perform physical activities, and hearing loss affecting communication made me a person with disabilities receiving the lowest disability allowance.

My dream is to own a modern hearing aid that would improve the quality of my life. Innovative hearing devices can help eliminate severe high-frequency hearing loss by shifting high-frequency sounds to lower frequencies. Such technology makes these sounds more audible. 

Unfortunately, such expensive devices are out of reach for me. My old hearing aid often breaks and doesn't meet my needs anymore. Moreover, dealing with pain and not being able to hear anything made me socially isolated and affected my mental health. 

I also require medical equipment, hearing-assisted devices and expensive thermal wear that protects against cold and locks in body heat. 

I wish I could return to work, make a living, and have a normal life. I must ask you for support! Thanks to you, I'll have a chance for a better future. Every donation brings me closer to recovery!
