UK for Kacper Boruta
The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
Hi, my name is Justyna. I don't know Kacper myself, he's not a family member, not even a friend... But what I do know is that he is ill - SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Type 2 - incurable until recently.
Last year an innovative gene therapy - Zolgensma has become available in the US! Great news! But not so great news is that this treatment is not funded by NFZ (Polish NHS) and it costs over $2.1million. That is over £1.6million to save Kacper's life. That's not it unfortunately... this therapy can only be performed on children under the age of two and Kacper is 17 months old now, which gives him and his parents only few months to miraculously find the money to save him.
I am a mother. My son is of a similar age to Kacper and I cannot imagine how does it feel to know a price for your child's life... Price that you cannot simply pay yourslef, not without help of others! As of today (12.02.2020) 56% of the goal has been reached! It breaks my heart even thinking about that there's still over £800k to 'find' in so little time.
Please, can you spare few pounds to help Kacper to live?
