Urgent❗️ A small heart is waiting to be saved!

We run a battle for heart of our son, Jan, that has a congenital disease. He was born with corrected transposition of the great vessels and Ebstein's anomaly. Without support his heart will stop beating one day…We knew from the beginning that his heart will get into failure. Jan will have dyspnea, he won’t be able to do everyday activity. Luckily we can avoid this situation. Double switch surgery is performed in such cases in best clinical centers in the world. Jan already had one surgery as a preparation for the double switch. In February 2020 Jan had banding of the pulmonary artery.

Boston Children’s Hospital, one of the most experienced hospitals in the world gave us a chance for the surgery, double switch. Unfortunately the cost of the surgery, almost 250.000 dollars, is so high that we cannot afford it. Without your help we cannot make it happen.

The first surgery was very difficult. Jan was in a coma after the surgery. He was given many medications, that made him confused, we saw him suffering. And we couldn’t do anything. Just wait for his recovery. Luckily after few weeks he got back being himself again, happy, cheerful and smiling. Now we have to go through that hard situation again. But we know that it is worth it.
