Cancer is taking over my life! I need your help!

At the end of October last year, my life changed radically. A few weeks after running a half marathon in Świnoujście, where I lived for last several years, I did preventive medical checkup and stayed at hospital longer than expected. I was diagnosed with gastric cancer with liver metastasis. 

I left my home and moved to Warsaw in order to receive the best possible medical treatment. After three cycles of chemotherapy, computer tomography showed reduction of the tumor by 50 percent. My happiness unfortunately has not lasted long. Shortly afterwards the tumor started to grow again and now is blocking my esophagus entirely. 

I can’t swallow the slightest amount of water. After a long hospitalization I had a gastrostomy. Now I am nourished through PEG, directly to my stomach. As the chemotherapy is not effective in my case anymore, I started immunological treatment, which ist not refunded. 

The goal of this fundraising is to cover preliminary cost of six month’s treatment. I am not able to cover such cost alone. And this treatment is the only way for me to recover and live.
