Leukemia attacked again and it’s getting stronger! This is the last chance for life!

Everything seemed to be ok, the treatment yielded the positive results and we had so much hope that we are able to win with the disease. We were sure that we are on the right way to our biggest goal – transplant. Those were the moments of strength and faith – we believed in the success.
It was a forlorn hope. Immediately my condition started to get worse and worse, and because of coronavirus there was no possibility to receive a suitable help in the hospital. Few weeks later the medical examination showed that my disease had grown stronger and it had resisted the previous treatment. Our world completely changed, another enourmous challenge stood in front of us. Unfortunately it was even worse than in the beginning – the amount of the infected cells was much bigger than in the first flare of disease.
Such an agressive strain of leukemia is a real challenge even for the best specialists. For few months I have stayed in the hospital in Poznań, but nobody has been able to give me any hope.

Together with my parents, who support me in my fight, we were searching for help all over the world. Every time we were sending the messages to numerous medical centres meant a new hope for us.
Suddenly the chance appeared – the clinic in USA proposed an innovative therapy CAR-T, which may help to eliminate the diseased cells in my blood. At the moment this is my only hope for life. But when I saw the estimated cost of treatment I was completely damaged. The cost is 750 000 American dollars. Unfortunately neither me nor my family are able to find such an enormous amount of money.
Some time ago you helped me to regain hope and get a new chance for life. I didn’t want to start the next money collection, but at the moment I have no choice – every day without treatment is an enormous risk. Few weeks ago I had pneumonia and I balanced on the thin line between life and death… Then I realised again how much I want to live.

I can’t wait any more. That is why – being absolutely helpless – I am asking you to give me the very only chance. The awareness that I am not going to get another one is extremely difficult for me but it gives me a force to fight – perhaps for the last time… If you can help me, I will be grateful for each support, each share of my message.
