HELP - save our baby! Ksawery has a malignant brain tumour! We are waiting for a cost estimate of treatment in the USA, but we already know that the amount we need to raise will be out of our reach.

Ksawery has just turned one. For 12 months, we had a healthy and happy son. With tears of emotion, we watched his development. Now, we look at our baby boy who is connected to life-saving apparatus and we can't believe our own eyes. We are standing eye to eye with the death we must overcome! He is our whole world...

During the holidays, we noticed that Ksawery was tilting his head to the right side. We went to the emergency department, where we were told it was torticollis and Ksawery only needed rehabilitation. The therapy helped, but after 2 weeks, further struggle began....

When, in the morning, we were woken up by Ksawery crying loudly and we saw that our little boy could't close his eyes, we knew something was wrong. At first, doctors suspected facial paralysis, then Lyme disease. Parental instinct told us to keep searching. Further tests, puncture, MRI....

We were supposed to prepare for holidays... On 24 August, we received the cruellest diagnosis possible, the worst of the worst: brain tumour. The most malignant of all and very rare! 

When we were going to collect the test results, we didn't even want to think about such a possiblity. How is that even possible? After one year of happiness, are we just supposed to accept that there is a ticking bomb in our little son's head? That our perfect son can die at any moment?

Unfortunately, this is not the end of tragic news. Within one week, the tumour grew very quickly - from stage I to stage IV, more than doubling in size! The doctors suspected something mild, and at this moment, Ksawery's condition is critical!

Our son is in the intensive care unit in a medically induced coma due to a large tumour growth that has caused brain swelling. We don't even allow ourselves to think that our son could lose the most important battle of his life. But I know that to win, we need your help and enormous support!

The prognosis in Poland is very poor. Doctors are doing everything they can. In consultation with German oncologists, they have prepared specialised chemotherapy, but Ksawery's case is extremely difficult. One person in a million is born with such a tumour! That is why it is so hard to find a treatment that can save his life. This is where the Boston clinic came to our rescue. We are still waiting for the cost estimate and the improvement of our son's health. At this moment, such a long transport could be fatal for him...

We are asking for your help today. We are looking for the best rescue in the world - a clinic that would agree to treat Ksawery, but we know that this will involve huge costs. Asking isn't enough. We're begging! Help us save our son's life! We still believe we can make it like so many other children have already have...
