❗️1.5 million for the life of a young mother! Help Joanna win against cancer!

This collection is one of the most difficult things I had to do in my life. To show pictures without my hair that should never be seen by others, to tell the painful story of my desperate fight for every day. But I have no choice. My life was valued at 1.5 million PLN and I absolutely want to keep it. I have a husband and a wonderful 14 years old daughter. I also have a deadly tumor that wants to kill me. My only chance to survive this is an unfunded CAR-T treatment.

Over 650 hours of injecting poison into my veins, over one month of exhausting radiation, countless sleepless nights, lots of pain, fear and uncertainty. I can survive anything, as long as I don't lose hope and I don't have to leave my husband and my daughter.

In december 2019 during a routine thyroid examination my world stopped. A tumor the size of a grapefruit was found in my mediastinum. This deadly tumor was growing in my body for months! And I had no idea about it, so I couldn't look for help.

In march I could finally leave the hospital and get home to my loved ones. Unfortunately, moments later my condition worsened - I developed thrombosis. At this very moment everything became clear. My lymphoma is highly resistant to therapy, and it will be incredibly difficult for me to win against it. But I will not surrender! As long as there is hope, I will fight!

My chance at life is the CAR-T therapy that involves collecting my T lymphocytes, sending them to the USA where they will be 'taught' and 'specialised' in fighting my tumor, and then implanting them back in my body. It is a highly successful, but also incredibly expensive therapy. Where can I find 1.5 million PLN? It is the amount of money unattainable for mere mortals. By myself, I will not be able to fight for what's most valuable... And that's why I'm begging you, please help me live! Help me with my last chance at life.
