Help❗️A tiny heart needs your support❗️

Our little son Lucek was a long-awaited baby. The first months of pregnancy were filled with happiness. As parents, we wanted to prepare for the arrival of our child the best way we could. Unfortunately, everything changed after one appointment with the OBGYN. Our joy turned into fear. 

When I was in the third trimester, I learned that my unborn baby had a heart disorder. We couldn't come to terms with this information. At first, we thought it must have been a mistake. Unfortunately, further examinations confirmed the diagnosis. My doctor decided I would give birth at the Polish Mother's Health Center Institute in Lodz.

Thankfully, my baby boy was born on time - November 13, 2023, which was an advantage given his health condition. He was so tiny! I couldn't believe that he already had to fight for his life. He was almost immediately transferred to the NICU, where he stayed for two weeks. On the 15th day, he underwent heart surgery that would prepare him for further treatments. 

Due to a complex heart disorder, our son requires a second surgery. Meanwhile, he's been under the supervision of physiotherapists who ensure his proper development. 

Lucuś required cardiac catheterization twice - on January 24 and May 2 (this time, aortic stenting was necessary). Since our doctor's appointments have been constantly rescheduled and hospital admissions are being postponed, we decided to search for help in different clinics in Poland and abroad. 

We contacted a clinic in Geneva, which provided us with devastating news - Lucek must undergo heart surgery as soon as possible because his heart can stop at any time! We were in shock! Geneva clinic specialists can admit Lucek even tomorrow. However, we must transfer them MILLION zlotys for the surgery beforehand. We have no time to lose!

We had to start a fundraiser. As parents, we will do everything to save our brave little son. Every day, we watch him fight for his life. We are so scared that we fail to collect the money on time and lose our baby!
