A tiny face and a great deal of fear - an operation that is Victor's only salvation!

Victor was already hiding his face behind his arms in his belly. Therefore, until the 30th week of pregnancy, doctors were not able to notice his defect. However, after another consultation with one of the best specialists in Poland, we heard a diagnosis: bilateral cleft palate and lips with asymmetry of the peritoneal bone. We were not prepared for such news ...

Instead of enjoying the pregnancy, which should have been the most beautiful period for us, we were worried about our crumble. This is where the fear of our son's health, the great unknown and the fear of what awaits us and... what it looks like, came into play.

Unfortunately, successive studies have not reassured us, on the contrary: it has been confirmed that the cleft is getting bigger and bigger and does not only concern the lip, but also the soft, hard palate and a fragment of gums. The first day after birth came as a huge shock to me and my husband ... However, after the great shock, a great love for this baby came. My heart started to beat outside my body. For me it is the most beautiful. Every day I am grateful that Victorian is with me. I love him so much. I would like a good life for him, but my heart is breaking, because I know it will be hard for him! My son needs many surgeries that will not only improve his appearance but, above all, allow him to live without limitations. Due to the current situation in the country, all surgeries are cancelled or postponed until an unknown date. However, we have no time to waste!

The first operation must take place as soon as possible. Now that Victor is growing fast and his body is regenerating easily! There will be no better time for him... That is why we have no choice but to operate in a private clinic. And although this is very difficult for us, we must ask you for help!
