Let our children be independent and help us give them a lift!

The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
Bartek is 13. He is a cheerful, inquisitive teenager, who was born with tetraplegia cerebral palsy. Bartek cannot walk, he is not able to dress up or eat a meal by himself. He cannot play with his friends either. He is completely dependent on others and needs help with every single thing he does. Bartek is a third grade student in a primary school for students with special needs and he has his dreams just like all of us. What he desires the most is to be independent and self-reliant.
Every single day, teachers and therapists from Bartek's school try very hard to help their students become as self-contained and independent as possible, and lead to their highest social activity. Although they do their best, Bartek and his friends cannot use all the rooms and classrooms at school freely. Precisely the rooms which are situated on the first floor. Unfortunately there was not enough money to buy and install the lift without which the students cannot get upstairs.
For you and other people who are not disabled, stairs are just an element of architectural design. You do not wonder, you just walk up or down the stairs. For Bartek and his friends it is an obstacle with which it is difficult to cope with – it is like a Mount Everest expedition. Without specially designed belay devices noone would be able to reach it. All students from Bartek's school are physically impaired, and most of them have to use wheelchairs. Nevertheless they want to be as independent and self-reliant as possible, as well as have an access to all rooms in their school. That is why it is necessary to install the lift for them.
For months we have been organising campaigns which are to help us gather finncial support, but we still need several thousands zlotys to accomplish our plan.
The time is running because we have to finish the installation tasks before the September 1, 2016.
Help Bartek and his friends reach their Mount Everest, build the lift which will get them to the top with us.
All funds accumulated in the money box are transferred
