When it seemed that Wioletta gained a new life after transplant, a TRAGEDY occurred! Help!

Wiola has been suffering from  chronic kidney disease for years. A couple of months ago her struggle seemed to have a miraculous ending – she had a kidney transplant.  We were laughing that she was born anew and we decided that her birthday will now be on 31 August. Unfortunately, our joy lasted only a month and a half.

Then, Wiola was attacked by bacteria that live in our body naturally but due to the immunosuppressants, her immune system was weakened and bacteria could grow uncontrollably, giving very unpleasant side effects. But it was just the beginning.

The same day we received information that the urine culture was clear, Wiola experienced STROKE, at night, during her hospital stay. It resulted in global aphasia and right hemiplegia...

Wiola cannot speak, swallow and is tube-fed. The healthcare professionals are of the opinion that she is a patient with poor prognosis and does not qualify for neurological rehabilitation financed by the National Health Fund. According to them, we are left with specialist 24-hour care or commercial rehabilitation that we cannot afford.
