No one gave Wojtuś any changes to live.
He was rejected from the very start to show everyone his inner strength to survive. Wojtuś had a twin brother. He had, because when his mother was 7 month pregnant, an ultrasound scan showed that his brother is dead and Wojtuś had brain damage. The cesarean section was performed to save his life. He spent the first 71 days of his life in a hospital incubator, even though in the second day of his life, one of the doctors said he would be a plant. Wojtuś left the hospital when he started to breathe and eat on his own. Since that time we visit many specialists and we try to do our best to help him grow and advance. Wojtuś suffers from hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy. Accordingly, he suffers from nanocephaly, epilepsy, disorders of vision, and delayed psychomotor development. Now he is almost 4 and instead of playing and running like many other children, he spends most of his time attending rehabilitation and visiting different specialists. Now we have observed that Wojtuś starts to manage to eat with a spoon, he smiles and crows. We want more, we want Wojtuś to move on with his life.
