The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
Maja (from Poznań, Poland) was born with incredibly rare and complex heart condition and is in need of life-saving heart surgery. She's been already admitted to Stanford for the surgery (Pulmonary Artery Reconstruction), but the amount of money seems unachievable. Doctors in Poland managed to buy her some more time with an emergency surgery, but there isn't much time left...
