Help Zosia Slow the Progression of Stage IV Glioblastoma

My name is Zosia. I am 42 years old and a mother of two young children. Until recently, my life was ordinary and happy – I worked, laughed, made plans for the future, and watched my children grow with joy.

Today, I am facing the most difficult experience of my life – trying to recover after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. I urgently need your help.
In the summer of 2025, I began suffering from severe headaches. I thought it was just a migraine.

Everything changed the day my arm and leg suddenly went numb. I was taken to the hospital. A CT scan revealed a tumor in my brain. A few days later, I received the diagnosis: grade IV glioblastoma – a very aggressive and fast-growing brain cancer.

On July 30th, I underwent a long and complex surgery. The tumor was partially removed. I felt hope and deep gratitude when I was able to return home to my children, who had missed me so much. Sadly, the disease progressed again… even faster than anyone expected.

I went through radiotherapy and chemotherapy. On December 15th – my 42nd birthday – I had to undergo another surgery. It was a time of fear, uncertainty, and pain, but also immense determination. My greatest wish is to remain with my children for as long as possible. I want to watch them grow up. I want to support them, hug them, and be present in their lives for as long as I can.

My doctors are honest: without further modern treatment, the disease will continue to progress.
My chance to slow its development is Optune therapy (TTFields – Tumor Treating Fields) and other non-reimbursed treatments. The cost is overwhelming – approximately 120,000 PLN (around 30,000 USD) per month. The total cost may reach 3 million PLN (around 750,000 USD). This is far beyond what I can afford on my own.

Optune is an innovative, research-based therapy for glioblastoma. It works by delivering low-intensity electric fields that interfere with cancer cell division and help slow tumor growth. The treatment requires wearing a specialized medical device for at least 18 hours a day for many months. It offers a real opportunity to extend life and maintain its quality.
