Zuzia was a premature baby. Her weeks-long fight for life dramatically affected her overall health. Our daughter needs your support! 

Zuzia was born in the 27th week of pregnancy and weighed as little as 800 grams. She had to stay in the hospital for 2,5 months. Our only wish was to take her home and hold her in our arms. She also suffered from retinopathy of prematurity. Due to a failed intravitreal injection, she required laser eye therapy. We were so scared! 

When she turned 2, she was diagnosed with diplegic cerebral palsy. Since then, she has been undergoing regular physical therapy - she will need it for the rest of her life! 

Zuzanna is already three years old and experiences movement difficulties -  she walks on her toes and keeps tripping over her own feet. She requires several Achilles tendon lengthening surgeries to restore a correct gait pattern. The first procedure costs 8,000 zlotys! 

After the surgery, Zuza's leg will be put in a cast for five weeks. Meanwhile, she's been wearing braces and special footwear, which is replaced regularly because of her developing body. She also visits an eye doctor, cardiologist, neurologist, psychologist, and speech therapist. The appointments are expensive, though. 

We didn't want a fundraiser when our daughter was born, although our family members insisted. Lately, we reconsidered it and decided to create one for the sake of our beloved daughter. Please help Zuzia! We have three children, and we want all of them to be happy when they grow up!
