For leukemia not to take away Zuzia’s chance for walking

Zuzia has been fighting for her life from the very beginning - cerebral palsy, blindness, decreased functioning of the pituitary gland ... In the first weeks of our daughter’s life, bad news fell upon us like an avalanche.

Even the smallest progress gave us wind in our sails and strength to continue our fight. However, in October, Zuzia unexpectedly stopped walking. We desperately searched for help. That is how we found out it was the post covid syndrome. We then set to work even more intensely, to deal with the terrible consequences, and then, when we were so close, our world stopped ...

On May 20th, we were told that Zuzia has acute lymphoblastic leukemia! Our little daughter is fighting for her life ... The chemotherapy, which is underway, is destroying her body, and this is just the beginning. Her weakness and the interruption in her rehabilitation process are causing a huge regression in Zuzia's development. However, despite being afraid, we believe that these are only temporary problems.

Zuzia is a true warrior. Sometimes we are amazed at the positive energy with which she takes on everything that is happening to her. We used to dream about nothing more than that Zuzia could see the world around her. Today, the only thing we want is for her to BE and to live her life as independently as possible. We are in constant contact with her wonderful therapists from before the leukemia period. They are the ones who helped us create an annual and intensive rehabilitation plan that will allow Zuzia to return to form. This plan is the goal of this fundraiser. Please help us.
