Fundraiser goal: reatment and rehabilitation, providing help in a difficult situation
Fundraiser description
I had a perfect pregnancy. The delivery was unexpectedly complicated, though. We didn’t hear our son’s first cry…
From the very beginning, he’s been having major health issues, which we, as parents, didn’t know even existed. For the first couple of months after he was born, he didn’t make any sounds or eat independently. Initially, he was fed through a nasogastric tube, and after a while, he required a PEG tube to be placed in his stomach.
Adam also has hypotonia. Although he’s already 3 years old, he’s learned how to sit independently only recently. He still isn’t able to walk or speak and experiences swallowing, eating, and breathing difficulties. Every day is a battle to reach at least a single milestone - a smile, a look, a gesture.
Adam is cared for by a team of specialists, including neurologists, pulmonologists, geneticists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists… Despite numerous examinations, the diagnosis remains unknown, however.

Only thanks to hard work and determination did we start to witness little miracles. Breathing exercises have finally paid off - we heard our son speak for the first time! It was an unforgettable moment! Additionally, thanks to the speech therapist, Adam learned how to eat, and he had the PEG tube removed. It’s a huge step forward, although our journey is not yet complete.
We love our son more than anything in the world, and we will do everything for him. Unfortunately, we can no longer afford rehabilitation and medical devices.
Every little donation or share means a lot to us. Your support will help us cover the cost of Adam’s rehabilitation and essential medical equipment. It’s a chance for a better life for Adam—maybe one day, he will stand on his own feet and say “mom” or “dad.” From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for your donation, a good word, and presence. Thanks to you, we’re not alone!
