I am fighting for my life❗️ Please, help me win!

I have never thought that oncology would become my reality. I have never imagined that this would happen now, when I am a mum – the most important person in my 6-year-old daughter’s life! The responsibility of the mother is to live and bring up her child and I do not know what will happen in a couple of months! In the picture, You can see me with my daughter who will suffer the most, if I lose the fight with this terrible disease.

In my hands I am holding a diagnosis that sounds like a sentence to me – inoperable gastric cancer. I am trying to be brave for my family but my heart is torn into pieces. I am not ready to disappear from my family’s life. I want to fight but this fight is extremely expensive! 

The diagnosis appeared unexpectedly and abruptly destroyed the peaceful life of our family. Our stable life changed into a race. Each day is filled with consultations, medical examinations, bad news, chemotherapy and medicine. Sometimes it is difficult to get out of bed to face this reality for yet another day.

I had to wear a wig on my daughter’s first day of school. Chemotherapy, bald head and crying at night are a small price for the possibility that I could be healthy again. 

Unfortunately, gastric cancer is a fierce opponent. So fierce that today, after my first cycle of chemotherapy, I know that I cannot do this on my own, I cannot win with this disease without expensive treatment, specialistic consultations and medical examinations. Before, I was waiting for the surgery that was meant to be the first step towards my recovery. The results of the latest medical examination took away the biggest hope from me. The cancer has infiltrated vital tissues and in its current shape, it is not operable. 

The standard chemotherapy was not successful, I need another option and I have to pay for each additional chance. 

I am 40 years old, I have a wonderful daughter and a partner for whom I want to live with all my heart. My head is full of dreams, passion, optimism and persistence to fight for myself. I have always been an active person. I love sports, physical activity and everything connected to it. Despite the disease, I am trying to lead an active life and participate in my family’s life. However, I know that my time is limited and if I do not face the cancer, it will become stronger than me and take control over my life. I cannot allow for this to happen. 

From the bottom of my heart I am asking You for support, because due to the Donors who believe in me, I became stronger. Thanks to Your support I do not want to and I cannot give up. I dream for this horrible reality to become only a cloudy memory.

Currently I am fighting not only against cancer but also against time as each day may be crucial for my treatment. The disease will not stop on its own, and that is why, on behalf of my family and me, and especially on behalf of my little daughter, whom I love the most, I am begging for Your help.
