Fundraiser description

I'm 43 years old. I am the mother of an 18-year-old boy Dawid and a 6-year-old girl Julia. Until now, I could describe myself as the neck, the head and the main helmsman of the whole organism, which is my family.

I work professionally, and after work I take care of children. My daughter loves to swim and my son plays soccer. We often go to training together or spend time actively. I also love reading - especially detective stories by Polish authors.

About 7 months ago I had broken ribs, breaking 5 ribs on the left side of my body without any intervention, accident or action of third parties. The orthopedic doctor referred me for tests for osteoporosis. The result was borderline normal, but not bad, so I was advised to repeat the test in a year. I took painkillers and functioned as normal.

More than a month ago, when I got out of bed, I had pain in my shoulder.
The right arm became practically limp, the pain radiating towards the collarbone.

I went to the doctor again. The internist who ordered me an X-ray was concerned about my condition. Tests have shown that my bones resemble Swiss cheese.

Since June I have been going for various tests, waiting and diagnosing myself. Practically every day I am in the hospital, examining myself, signing up for more tests ... The latest results of the bone marrow biopsy and blood tests put the diagnosis of multiple myeloma.

Malignant neoplasm. I do not give up, I have always been a rebellious and brave type, now the fight is for me, my children and their future.

I start with radiotherapy, the next step is chemotherapy (the sooner the better and I'm waiting again) and transplant.
The time and speed of treatment initiation are the main elements of success.

I am asking you to support me in this fight. In addition to treatment at the Hospital in Łódź, I am trying to get a non-reimbursed drug that the Hospital can import and administer to me - then the treatment is much more effective.

What can be sped up, I do privately. I know I can't wait.

However, funds are needed for this. I will be grateful for your support and your heart. I strongly believe that I will win this war and I will be able to help myself - I will for sure!
