Dominik’s End-to-End Bike Project
The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
Hi All,
- This project is all about 973 miles (1566 km) bike ride from Land’s End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland. In 10 days…We have been planning it for ages to fulfil our cycling ambitions.
- Our aim now is to raise at least £1000 for treatment of Dominik, who suffers with Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Dominik needs a lot of money to pay for a lifesaving drug that is not funded by the National Health Service in Poland
- He has a chance to live – if he collects enough money to pay for the treatment

Dominik is a 32 years old man fighting a very malicious enemy – Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Dominik has been through all standard treatments available, unfortunately with no success. He was told his only chance to live is to receive three doses of a drug called Adcetris…This drug is very expensive and is not funded by the Polish Health Services (NFZ).
Dominik wants to live…He wants to enjoy his life with his wife and family…He wants to fight the cancer and win this battle, but he can’t do it without asking for financial support… His life has been priced at £25k, the sum that is beyond his reach…
We don’t know Dominik, but we know what it means to love life. As we love challenges and cycling, we thought we could kill two birds with one stone and help! We can help!!!
The Trip:
Planned for June 2016, the trip will start at Land’s End in Cornwall and finish at John O’Groats in Scotland. It is simply a cycling challenge from one end of UK to the other end, with a daily distance of 70-90 miles.
We hope to complete our ride within ten days. We fund all the equipment and other expenses ourselves with all the money raised going to Dominik through the charity supporting his cause (www.siepomaga.pl (opens a new tab)). We can’t use any of the UK charity websites (like justgiving@com) because the charity we’re collecting money for is not registered in UK.
However, if you’re in UK or anywhere in Europe you can use PayPal! :)
