Fundraiser description
It is so hard for me to believe it… Jagódka had so many dreams associated with dancing, swimming, and painting... Past tense - because now she has only one dream – to stay alive. But first, she has to wake up from a coma.
It all happened so suddenly, so quickly, so unexpectedly… There were no early signs of a TUMOR in my daughter’s BRAIN which has grown since she was little!

In February, I drove her to the eye doctor for the annual eye checkup. The doctor did not like the results, so he sent Jagoda to the hospital for additional medical examination, after which my whole world collapsed.
I was told that my daughter was terminally ill and might die in her sleep. The doctors left me with no doubts. They had no other choice but to perform surgery right away.
It has been over a month since the cancer surgery. Unfortunately, the large size of the tumor caused much damage to Jagódka’s brain. As a result, she fell into a coma and still has not woken up!

I’ve been consulting Jagoda’s case with the doctors. I must do my best to offer my beloved daughter every chance to regain her childhood. Luckily, the tumor was not malignant, so there is an opportunity for recovery.
Five years ago, I lost one of the most important people in my life – my beloved husband. He died tragically on July 6, 2018, in the MiG-29 plane crash near Pasłęk, in northern Poland. Our children, friends, and families still reminisce about him. Now fate tries to take away my daughter, but I will not let it happen!
I am asking for your support. Every little donation brings Jagoda closer to recovery!
Marlena, her mom
