Fundraiser description
At 14, Julia tried to take her own life after experiencing hate from her peers. Since then, we’ve been fighting for her recovery. Although three years have already passed, we don’t lose hope.
That fatal day, my sensitive and beautiful daughter, who had a head full of dreams, made a dramatic decision. Her heart stopped... Although her body survived, cerebral hypoxia caused an impairment of daily functioning.

This event changed our lives forever. Each day, we are fighting for her every movement, look, or moment of presence. Every minor gesture gives us hope for a better tomorrow...

Julia is now 17, and we’re thankful she’s alive. However, she requires round-the-clock home care assistance, rehabilitation, therapy, and an enormous amount of resources. I know that Julia can hear us and feel our presence. I believe that she can still come back to us – in her own way, and on her own terms.

In April, cruel fate made our lives even more miserable. Julia’s beloved younger brother Wojtuś died in an accident. He was only 8 years old. He was a loving, happy, empathetic boy, Julia’s soulmate, and our light. Their father died in the same accident. All that is left is an unimaginable pain and sorrow.

Since they’re gone, pain, emptiness, and the challenges of everyday life have become our reality. What’s left is silence, tears, and a constant struggle to find the meaning.

I believe that Julia still has a long journey ahead of her, and her story hasn’t finished yet. We need your support, though. She requires rehabilitation, therapies, and specialized equipment.
Let it not end in silence...
