Cancer wants to take my mom away! Please help me fight for her life!

Throughout my life, my mom has been incredibly supportive of me. She was over the moon when I told her I was pregnant. Today, a cruel disease wants to take her away from me...

Our world fell apart when she heard the worst diagnosis possible - grade IV glioblastoma multiforme... An aggressive brain tumor. A fight for her life began immediately.

Two weeks ago, my mom underwent surgery to remove the tumor located in the left frontal lobe. The doctors managed to resect 80% of it. My mom still requires further treatment, though. We‘ve been waiting for them to greenlight radiation therapy and chemotherapy, and in the meantime, we’ve been searching for other treatment options, including the ones abroad.

I am my mom’s closest family member. Unfortunately, I can no longer take care of her as much as I want due to my high-risk pregnancy (sixth month). It’s a miracle I got pregnant. We’d been trying for 10 years, and I suffered 11 miscarriages. Moreover, the adoption process we had been going through for the past 2 years stopped because of the social workers’ mistakes.

All these years, my mom stayed by my side and supported me. I shared every loss with her. Today, the tables have turned. This time, she is the one who’s heard a devastating diagnosis.

I want to do everything to increase her chances of getting treatment. Make sure she meets her long-awaited grandchild. Unfortunately, we must pay for expensive cancer therapy abroad and consultations out of pocket.
